Privacy policy
This page is maintained by the TV Studio Path team and describes how the platform handles learner information. It is not a certification or an independent audit.
What we collect
- Account details you provide: email address, display name, and anything you add to your profile.
- Learning activity: lesson and lab progress, quiz attempts, logbook entries, portfolio submissions and forum posts.
- Credential records: certificates issued to you, including their serial, issue date and verification hash.
- Optional engagement analytics, only if you switch them on.
Why we use it
To run your account, show your progress, let mentors assess your work, issue and verify certificates, and keep the forum usable. We do not sell personal data.
Analytics are opt-in
Navigation and hero engagement tracking is disabled until you enable it with the analytics toggle in the site footer. You can turn it off again at any time, and the same footer control clears locally saved progress markers stored in your browser.
Who can see your work
Your progress, logbook and portfolio are visible to you, to mentors and administrators who assess your work, and to workplace supervisors you submit hours to. Forum posts are visible to signed-in members. Certificates are private unless you generate a public share link, which you can revoke.
Storage and retention
Data is stored in the platform's managed cloud database and file storage with access rules that scope records to their owner. We keep your learning record for as long as your account is active so your evidence stays intact.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, delete unverified logbook entries, revoke certificate share links, and opt out of analytics at any time. To request access to or deletion of your account data, contact us and we will confirm the request with you before acting on it.
Changes
We update this page when the platform changes. Material changes will be announced in the forum.
