About us

Television training that starts on the studio floor

TV Studio Path exists because most broadcast training stops at theory. We put learners in a working studio — real or virtual — from the first week, then build the underpinning knowledge around what they have already done with their hands.

What we do

We combine three things that are usually taught separately: a practical lab environment, a structured learning pathway, and evidence-based assessment. Learners run cameras, light a set, mix vision and sound, then record what they did in a logbook that a mentor signs off.

How we teach

Do it first

Every module opens with a lab or a virtual studio session. You operate the gear before you read about it.

Explain it second

Lessons, diagrams and quizzes give you the reasoning behind the button you just pressed.

Evidence third

Your work goes into a portfolio of evidence: shot lists, recordings, rubric scores and signed-off hours.

Mentored throughout

Mentors review submissions against published rubrics and reply in the course forum.

Virtual labs for learners without gear

Access to a working gallery is the single biggest barrier in broadcast training. Our browser-based 3D studio reproduces cameras, a lighting grid, talent, a vision mixer and a monitor wall so that a learner with only a laptop can practise the same drills as someone standing in Studio A.

Honest about credentials

TV Studio Path issues its own signed certificates of completion, verifiable from the certificate page. These are platform credentials that record what you completed and when. Where a national qualification is required, use them as portfolio evidence alongside your accredited provider's process.
